It sounds like a stupid question, Do you know how to eat your meal?
Do you eat protein and vegetable first , then eat carbohydrates such as bread or rice? or opposite?
Weill Cornell Medicine Professor Alpana Shukla suggested that is the most difficult thing to do in low-carb diets for patients and people who want to lose weight. Because carb taste so delicious, everyone like to eat, so it is difficult to have a low-carb diet. Because carb help your brain release dopamine, bring the happiness to you after your eat.
Therefore, an alternative is to customize the order of carbohydrates when eating. To demonstrate the effectiveness of this, Dr. Shukla designed and completed several relevant clinical trials.
For example, the volunteers are divided into two groups, one group eats carbohydrates after eating protein and vegetables, and the other group eats protein and vegetables after eating carbohydrates. The results were quite shocking, and most of the people might have thought that eating carbohydrates first would make some small differences, but they were exclaimed when they saw the results below.

The red line is the postprandial plasma glucose level of the carb group, and the blue line group is the post-eat carb group. The latter is obviously much smoother and much lower. But people may thought also we eat food mixed with protein, vegetable and carbohydrates together, but still look this one.
